With subsea equipment being made small and diving deeper, system pressures are continuing to rise. To accommodate this UK Flowtechnik has launched its new range of SP555 & SP555A subsea flowmeters. The body is machined from Cold Worked 316 Stainless Steel which has all the properties of 316 Stainless Steel but a higher yield strength, allowing pressure ratings up to 20,000 PSI. This together with Tungsten Carbide bearings makes for a rugged and reliable meter built for the harshest subsea conditions. A choice of outputs from low power frequency signals to go with battery powered displays or data loggers to standard 4-20 mA signals are available with subsea electrical connectors; our standard is 2 or 3 pin male, but customer specified alternatives can be accommodated.
